Staff Accountant

About the role

Support multi-entity accounting operations, month-end close activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit preparation, and responses to financial information requests.

What you'll do

• Assist with month-end close, financial reports, and analyses
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Import and enter journal entries from subsidiary systems
• Monitor restricted gifts and grants
• Review monthly financial trends for reporting consistency
• Assist with financial statements and cash flow reports
• Support annual audit and cost report preparation
• Respond to financial information requests from staff and religious Sisters

What you'll bring

• College degree in accounting or business, or at least five years of relevant experience
• Three to five years of experience
• Experience with multi-entity accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet tools, and ERP financial software
• NetSuite experience is a plus
