School Aide - Immediate Start

About the role

Support special education students as a paraprofessional or classroom aide during the 2026-2027 school year. Assist teachers, reinforce lessons and IEP goals, manage classroom behavior, facilitate positive peer interactions, and provide personal care when needed.

What you'll do

• Help the classroom teacher maintain a safe learning environment
• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students with special needs
• Reinforce lessons and implement IEPs
• Support differentiated classroom communications and learning materials
• Assist with classroom and behavior management plans
• Facilitate positive interactions between students with disabilities and their peers
• Use varied learning methods to support student development
• Provide personal care assistance, including toileting, feeding, and dressing, when needed

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Experience providing personal care
• Professional proficiency in English
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain provided certification
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to stand, move, kneel, bend, and respond quickly throughout the school day
