School Aide - Hiring Now

About the role

Support special education students as a paraprofessional or classroom aide during the 2026–2027 school year. Assist licensed classroom staff with instruction, classroom management, individualized education plans, self-care, and social or behavioral needs. Schedule is Monday through Friday within the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 or 4:30 p.m., with no weekend work.

What you'll do

• Assist licensed staff with academic adaptations and individualized education plans
• Support students individually or in small groups with self-care and social or behavioral needs
• Maintain a safe classroom environment conducive to learning
• Provide timely support during student crisis situations
• Use varied learning methods to improve student engagement and outcomes

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a US-accredited institution, or a high school diploma and a ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least 6 months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship
• Ability to remain on your feet and move around the classroom throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and safely assist students
