About the role

Supports K-12 students with special education needs through individualized academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and personal-care assistance. Works closely with teachers, behavior specialists, special education staff, and families.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
• Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral and academic support
• Use positive reinforcement, de-escalation, and proactive behavior strategies
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to maintain a supportive classroom
• Track behavioral incidents, triggers, responses, and outcomes
• Communicate observations and strategies with staff and families
• Assist students with toileting, feeding, mobility, and other daily routines

What you'll bring

• High school diploma
• Experience supporting individuals with special educational needs
• Experience providing personal-care support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• English proficiency
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain provided certification
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and assist students physically
• Experience with autism, ABA therapy, or severe emotional needs preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
