Registered Nurse - Surgical Trauma ICU - Part Time - Days

About the role

Provide nursing care in a 20-bed surgical universal bed unit serving patients from ICU-level care through discharge. Coordinate and deliver compassionate care using evidence-based nursing practices.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care
• Delegate and supervise care as appropriate
• Educate patients and families
• Communicate patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Identify and implement solutions when patient goals are not met

What you'll bring

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Enrollment in a BSN program within three years of hire
• Completion of a BSN within five years of hire
• Current Michigan RN license
• Clinical knowledge needed to formulate nursing care plans
• Effective communication skills
