Paraprofessional - Hiring Now

About the role

Full-time paraprofessional position providing academic, social, behavioral, and personal support to K–12 students with special education needs. The role works closely with licensed teachers and supports student IEP goals.

What you'll do

• Assist licensed staff with academic adaptations and individualized education plans
• Provide individual and small-group student support
• Help with self-care and social or behavioral needs
• Maintain a safe classroom environment
• Respond promptly during student crises
• Use multiple learning methods to support student engagement

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a US-accredited institution, or a high school diploma and a ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least 6 months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• US work authorization
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical classroom support duties
