About the role

Full-time instructional aide role supporting students with mild, moderate, and severe special education needs during the 2026–2027 academic year. The position provides educational, behavioral, and personal-care assistance in an inclusive classroom environment.

What you'll do

• Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe learning environment
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special needs
• Reinforce lessons and assist with IEP implementation
• Help differentiate classroom communications for individual student needs
• Support classroom and behavior management plans
• Model strategies for positive peer interactions
• Use varied instructional methods to enhance learning
• Provide personal care support, including toileting, feeding, and dressing

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Experience providing personal care
• Passion for special education
• United States work authorization
• Professional proficiency in English
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain provided certification
• Ability to remain active throughout the classroom day
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and safely assist students
