Instructional Aide - Immediate Start

About the role

Instructional aide role for the 2026–2027 school year supporting K–12 students with autism, behavioral needs, and other special education needs. Work with classroom teachers to provide individual and small-group assistance and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.

What you'll do

• Help licensed classroom staff implement academic adaptations and IEPs
• Support students individually and in small groups
• Assist students with self-care and social or behavioral needs
• Maintain a safe environment conducive to learning
• Provide timely assistance during student crisis situations
• Use varied learning methods to improve engagement and outcomes

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a United States-accredited institution, or a high school diploma and ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least six months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• United States work authorization
• Ability to remain on your feet and move around the classroom throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and safely assist students
