Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFull Time X-Ray Technician needed!Hours: 9AM-8PM (variable schedule)New Graduates are welcome to apply!Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracyUtilizes radiology information systems to facilitate careExplains procedure to patient to ensure understandingIndependently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (may include placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast)Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standardsCompletes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warrantedAssists in the facilitation of departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.)Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication styleThe physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of forceThe incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseasesThis job is responsible for assessing patients and safely performing routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocolsWork RemotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insurance-Health insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical specialties:RadiologyUrgent CareShift availability:Day Shift (Required)Night Shift (Required)Work Location: PRN (Opelousas, New Iberia, Crowley) \nCompany DescriptionLOCAL urgent care clinics with high growth and room for a true career path.Company DescriptionLOCAL urgent care clinics with high growth and room for a true career path.
