Annual base compensation ranges from $67,000 to $113,000, with final pay based on experience, skills, and location.
What you'll do
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and review additions, transfers, disposals, and retirements.
- Coordinate physical asset verifications and investigate missing, obsolete, or incorrectly assigned assets.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly close.
- Support depreciation calculations, capitalization reviews, and fixed asset reporting.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and obtain required approvals.
- Maintain audit documentation and identify improvements to asset processes and controls.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Three years of related accounting, finance, fixed asset, inventory, or asset management experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with reports and large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and deadline management skills.
- Experience with asset tracking tools, Oracle or SAP, and SOX or audit support preferred.
