Prepared Foods Order Writer (Deli / Culinary - Buyer / Inventory Replenishment) - Full Time

About the role

Orders, replenishes, and merchandises prepared foods products, monitors inventory and purchase orders, supports promotional programs, coordinates with vendors and department leadership, and assists with food preparation and customer service.

What you'll do

• Purchase and replenish food using established buying procedures
• Monitor purchase order reports, purchases, and credits
• Control spoilage and shrink and support inventory goals
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep records
• Assist with counter service and cooking as scheduled
• Communicate ordering needs and issues to department leadership
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors
• Assist with recipe costing and customer special orders
• Support inventory counts and promotional displays
• Meet purchasing, profitability, and sales targets
