Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift

About the role

Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing plant. The first-shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What you'll do

• Perform maintenance activities according to standard operating procedures
• Complete preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, and routine part replacement
• Fabricate and repair simple metal projects
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
• Maintain written and electronic equipment logs
• Use required personal protective equipment
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

What you'll bring

• One to two years of related work experience
• Technical school or college certification preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, welding, fabrication, and tooling
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship
