About the role
Provide weekend engineering support for semiconductor deposition processes used in gallium arsenide, gallium nitride, and III-V focal plane array fabrication at Raytheon’s Andover foundry. This role is fully onsite.
What you'll do
- Process wafers to create FETs, MMICs, and focal plane arrays in a cleanroom
- Provide engineering support and training to manufacturing personnel
- Review and disposition wafers placed on hold
- Perform failure analysis on tools and processes
- Support tool and process qualification efforts
- Identify opportunities to reduce rework and scrap
- Improve production process efficiency
- Communicate with shift engineers, work center leads, operations leads, manufacturing personnel, and equipment teams
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- At least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least three years of relevant experience
- Experience with semiconductor processing techniques
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US government Secret security clearance
- US citizenship
- Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight
- Knowledge of semiconductor processing and data analysis preferred
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, SQL, or JMP preferred
- Active security clearance required after the first day
