About the role

Provide weekend engineering support for semiconductor deposition processes used in gallium arsenide, gallium nitride, and III-V focal plane array fabrication at Raytheon’s Andover foundry. This role is fully onsite.

What you'll do

  • Process wafers to create FETs, MMICs, and focal plane arrays in a cleanroom
  • Provide engineering support and training to manufacturing personnel
  • Review and disposition wafers placed on hold
  • Perform failure analysis on tools and processes
  • Support tool and process qualification efforts
  • Identify opportunities to reduce rework and scrap
  • Improve production process efficiency
  • Communicate with shift engineers, work center leads, operations leads, manufacturing personnel, and equipment teams

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least three years of relevant experience
  • Experience with semiconductor processing techniques
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US government Secret security clearance
  • US citizenship
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing and data analysis preferred
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, SQL, or JMP preferred
  • Active security clearance required after the first day
