Teacher Aide - Hiring Now

About the role

Full-time teacher aide role supporting K–12 students with special education needs during the 2026–2027 academic year. The aide works with licensed teachers and provides classroom, self-care, behavioral, and individualized learning support.

What you'll do

• Assist with academic adaptations and individualized education plans
• Work with students individually and in small groups
• Support student self-care and social or behavioral needs
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
• Respond to student crisis situations
• Apply varied instructional methods to encourage engagement

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a US-accredited institution, or a high school diploma and a ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least 6 months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• US work authorization
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and safely assist students throughout the day
