Staff Educator (Full Time)

About the role

Classroom support position working with students who have mild, moderate, or severe special education needs. The role provides academic, behavioral, and personal-care support and helps teachers maintain a structured learning environment.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
• Use positive reinforcement, de-escalation techniques, and proactive behavioral supports
• Support students in developing self-regulation and social-emotional skills
• Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists
• Reinforce classroom expectations and help students remain on task
• Track and document behavioral incidents, triggers, responses, and outcomes
• Coordinate student support strategies with staff and families
• Assist students with toileting, feeding, mobility, and other daily routines

What you'll bring

• High school diploma
• Experience supporting individuals with special educational needs
• Experience providing personal-care support
• English proficiency
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Experience with autism, ABA therapy, or severe emotional needs preferred
• Special education experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Additional training in behavioral techniques preferred
