Paraprofessional - Immediate Start

About the role

Full-time special education paraprofessional role supporting K–12 students with mild, moderate, and severe needs during the 2026–2027 academic year. The paraprofessional provides individualized and small-group assistance aligned with student IEP goals.

What you'll do

• Help licensed staff implement academic adaptations and individualized education plans
• Support students individually and in small groups
• Assist with student self-care and social or behavioral needs
• Maintain a safe classroom environment conducive to learning
• Provide timely assistance during student crisis situations
• Use varied learning methods to improve engagement and outcomes

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a US-accredited institution, or a high school diploma and a ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least 6 months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• US work authorization
• Ability to remain active throughout the school day, lift up to 20 pounds, and assist students safely
