Behavior Technician - Hiring Now

About the role

Classroom-based behavior support role serving students with mild, moderate, and severe special education needs. The technician provides academic, behavioral, and personal-care support while collaborating with teachers, behavior specialists, special education staff, and families.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
• Use positive reinforcement, de-escalation techniques, and proactive behavioral supports
• Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support
• Help students develop self-regulation, social-emotional skills, and classroom engagement
• Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists
• Track behavioral incidents, triggers, responses, and outcomes
• Communicate observations and strategies with staff and families
• Assist students with toileting, feeding, mobility, and other daily routines

What you'll bring

• High school diploma
• Experience supporting individuals with special educational needs
• Experience providing personal-care support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
• English proficiency
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain provided certification
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and assist students safely
• Experience with autism, ABA therapy, or severe emotional needs preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies preferred
