Instructional Aide - Immediate Start

About the role

Support K–12 students with autism and behavioral needs by working with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans, behavior plans, academic adaptations, and structured learning activities during the 2026–2027 school year.

What you'll do

• Help licensed staff implement academic adaptations and individualized education plans
• Provide individual and small-group student support
• Assist with student self-care and social or behavioral needs
• Maintain a safe environment conducive to learning
• Support students during crisis situations
• Use varied learning methods to improve engagement and outcomes

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a US-accredited institution, or a high school diploma with a ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least six months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to remain on your feet and move around the classroom
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and safely assist students
• Educational Aide Permit preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
