Telecommunications Technician I - MacDill AFB, FL

About the role

Installs and configures telephony systems and supports communications infrastructure at MacDill Air Force Base. The role includes documenting installations and planning cable, conduit, and line changes.

What you'll do

• Install and configure telephony systems
• Create drawings for new or revised communications lines
• Maintain installation and configuration documentation
• Plan new lines and the removal or rearrangement of existing lines, cables, and conduits
• Optimize communications facilities through efficient cable and conduit planning

What you'll bring

• United States citizenship
• Active Secret security clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BICSI Installer 2, Technician, or OSP Technician certification, or 2-3 years of equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of OSP or ISP support experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current passport and willingness to travel and work outside the continental United States
