Remote Sr. Data Engineer

About the role

Build the next generation of data tools and pipelines for a retail and commerce loyalty platform. Partner with application development, customer support, business experts, and stakeholders to transform transactional data into actionable insights.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines
• Transform transactional data into business insights
• Lead projects and collaborate across teams
• Support the deployment of new data technologies
• Build LLM and coding-agent tooling to improve engineering output
• Engage stakeholders and communicate technical solutions

What you'll bring

• At least five years of data engineering or related experience
• Experience leading projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Experience with Python, SQL, and Terraform
• Strong understanding of data modeling
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, and Structured Streaming
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and coding agents
