Classroom Assistant - Hiring Now

About the role

Full-time special education classroom support role for the 2026–2027 academic year. The assistant works with licensed teachers to help K–12 students with mild, moderate, or severe special education needs achieve academic, social, emotional, and individualized education plan goals.

What you'll do

• Assist licensed classroom staff with academic adaptations and individualized education plans
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special needs
• Help students work toward academic, social, and emotional goals

What you'll bring

• Associate degree or higher from a US-accredited institution, or a high school diploma and a ParaPro Assessment score of at least 456
• At least 6 months of experience supporting people with special needs
• Professional proficiency in English
• US work authorization
• Ability to meet applicable physical requirements
