Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

Provide human-centered primary care to patients of all ages through in-office visits, testing centers, and occasional telehealth visits. This full-time clinical role includes collaboration with in-office and virtual care teams, continuous learning, and opportunities to perform in-office procedures. Relocation assistance may be available.

What you'll do

• Manage a patient panel with a broad range of healthcare needs
• Conduct acute, chronic, and preventive care visits
• Treat patients in offices or testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning activities
• Collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams
• Perform in-office procedures based on clinical training
• Obtain additional state licensure and credentials for virtual primary care as needed

What you'll bring

• Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with national certification
• Current Texas license by the One Medical start date
• At least two years of recent outpatient primary care experience treating patients of all ages, or one year of such experience plus a one-year primary care fellowship or at least one year of urgent care experience treating all ages
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
• Ability to communicate with and care for individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to use technology effectively to deliver high-quality care
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and adapt to patient needs
• Openness to feedback and ability to navigate uncertain situations confidently
