Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Laurel Heights) - Sign-On Bonus Available

About the role

One Medical is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Laurel Heights office in San Francisco. The clinician will provide human-centered primary care to patients of all ages through acute, chronic and wellness visits, including occasional telehealth care. This role includes collaboration with in-office and virtual clinical teams, continuous learning and opportunities to perform in-office procedures.

What you'll do

• Manage a patient panel with a broad range of patient needs
• Conduct acute, chronic and wellness visits
• Treat patients in the office or testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning activities
• Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
• Use clinical training to perform appropriate in-office procedures
• Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care as needed

What you'll bring

• Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with national certification
• At least two years of Advanced Practitioner experience in an outpatient primary care setting treating patients of all ages, or one year of such experience plus a one-year primary care fellowship or at least one year of urgent care experience treating all ages
• California state license obtained by the start date
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
• Ability to communicate with and care for individuals from all backgrounds
• Ability to use technology effectively to deliver high-quality care
• Ability to collaborate, accept feedback and confidently navigate uncertain situations
• Willingness to adapt behavior to meet patient needs
