Core Trainer, Portland - Full Time

About the role

Provide onboarding, operational instruction, coaching, retraining, and performance support for seasonal and core colleagues in a supply chain facility. Help ensure consistent safety, quality, productivity, and operating standards across departments.

What you'll do

• Train and coach seasonal and core colleagues on essential job tasks
• Provide onboarding and operational training for new hires
• Deliver refresher training and retraining to improve safety, quality, and productivity
• Ensure operating instructions, safety guidelines, and quality expectations are followed
• Complete training checklists and follow up on colleague progress
• Conduct quality and productivity audits and provide immediate coaching
• Partner with warehouse managers and leads to identify operational gaps and implement training solutions
• Adapt training methods to different learning styles and operational demands
• Conduct first-day orientation activities, including facility tours and time-clock instruction
• Communicate performance trends and concerns to management
