$2080.80/week - Job Summary: The Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse provides comprehensive patient care to adult ward patients, focusing on telemetry monitoring and acute care needs. This role requires delivering high-quality nursing interventions, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and patient care plans. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly responding to abnormal findings. Document patient status, nursing assessments, and interventions accurately in medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies. Qualifications: Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required and must be current. Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. Provide a manager, supervisor, or director reference from the past 12 months. Pass a drug screen and background check, including nicotine testing if applicable. Benefits
