Assistant Manager I

About the role

Assist with daily store operations, customer service, merchandising, recordkeeping, loss prevention, associate supervision, and maintenance of a safe and organized retail environment.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily store functions and opening or closing procedures
• Help customers and address concerns
• Organize, stock, and transfer merchandise
• Maintain displays and promotional fixtures
• Process store records, payroll, deposits, and receipts
• Support loss prevention and asset protection
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety

What you'll bring

• Ability to read and explain operational directives
• Retail, grocery, or drug store management experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
