Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Tax Return Reviewer plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of tax filings by thoroughly examining returns and detecting potential errors. This position involves applying tax codes correctly, reviewing documentation meticulously, and communicating moderately with clients to clarify any issues. The reviewer will need to be familiar with Ultratax, and occasionally collaborates with other departments to support seamless tax processing. ResponsibilitiesExamine tax returns for accuracy, completeness and adhere to budgeted time framesDetect and address errors or inconsistencies in tax filingsApply relevant tax codes and IRS regulations consistentlyReview supporting documentation for compliance and legitimacyCommunicate moderately with clients to resolve issues and clarify informationUse Ultratax to process and review returnsCollaborate occasionally with other departments to enhance tax processes Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in tax return review that is directly processed Associate degree in Accounting or a related fieldProficient with UltrataxStrong knowledge of IRS regulationsExceptional attention to detail and analytical thinkingEffective communication and client interaction skillsTime management and problem-solving abilities \nCompany DescriptionMonfalcone & Garris PC is an established small firm with big goals.
