About the role

Join Macy’s at Los Cerritos Center as a part-time Lancome Beauty Advisor, helping customers discover makeup and skincare products that fit their needs. You will deliver personalized consultations, demonstrate product application, and build lasting customer relationships through thoughtful recommendations and follow-up. This onsite role combines beauty expertise, customer service, and sales in a collaborative retail environment. You will maintain an inviting cosmetics counter, support promotional events, and use digital tools to grow your client base. Part-time schedules typically range from 12 to 24 hours weekly, depending on business needs and availability, and include weekend shifts. Eligible commission sales may earn an additional 3%, with benefits subject to eligibility requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide personalized beauty consultations, makeup demonstrations, and skincare recommendations.
• Meet daily sales goals through attentive service and relevant product recommendations.
• Build customer relationships using clienteling tools, follow-up, and virtual outreach.
• Maintain clean counters, organized merchandise, accurate pricing, and promotional signage.
• Process purchases and introduce customers to credit accounts and loyalty benefits.
• Participate in sales events, product training, and vendor education.

What you'll bring

• At least one year of customer service or selling experience.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with dependable attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read employment policies and safety procedures in English.
• Interest in beauty products and ability to demonstrate application techniques.
• Comfort using point-of-sale systems, computers, and handheld digital tools.
• Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours, lift at least 25 pounds, reach, bend, and climb ladders.
