Zeal Med Staffing is seeking a General Dentist to join a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Shreveport, Louisiana area. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice bread-and-butter dentistry in a collaborative environment while helping provide essential dental care to an underserved community. Position Highlights Location: Shreveport, LA Area Start Date: ASAP, pending credentialing Assignment Length: 6 months with potential to extend Schedule: 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday), with a 5-day option available Hours: Primarily 8 AM–5 PM, with one extended day (9 AM–6 PM) Patient Volume: Approximately 10–11 patients per day Setting: Established FQHC with a supportive clinical team Potential: Opportunity to transition into a permanent position Compensation & Benefits Competitive Daily Compensation Weekly Pay Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided No Upfront Credentialing Costs Flexible Scheduling Options Long-Term Assignment Stability Clinical Environment Enjoy practicing in a team-oriented setting where you can focus on delivering quality patient care without an overwhelming daily schedule. You'll be supported by: 3 General Dentists 2 Rotating Dental Hygienists 2 Dedicated Dental Assistants per Dentist Experienced Medical and Dental Leadership Procedures Include: Routine Extractions Fillings and Restorative Dentistry Comprehensive and New Patient Exams Cleanings and Scaling/Root Planing Crown Procedures Root canal experience is a plus, but not required. The primary focus is general dentistry, with no sedation responsibilities.
