We work in beautiful homes and with clients who expect professional craftsmanship, reliability, cleanliness, communication, and respect for their property.If you are the type of painter who notices the little things, takes pride in straight cut lines, knows when additional prep is needed, and doesn't consider a job finished until it looks right—we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingHigh-quality interior and exterior paintingDetailed surface preparationScraping, sanding, patching, caulking and primingPrecise cutting-in around ceilings, trim, windows, doors and architectural detailsRolling and brushing with professional-quality finishesSpraying when appropriate, including proper masking and protectionInterior and exterior stainingWorking with different paints, primers, stains and finishesProtecting floors, furniture, landscaping and finished surfacesMaintaining a clean, organized jobsiteIdentifying problems with surfaces before painting and communicating themWorking independently while maintaining project standardsCommunicating professionally with homeowners and project managersThe Person We're Looking ForExperience matters, but craftsmanship matters more.Our ideal candidate:Has 3+ years of professional residential painting experienceIs highly skilled with prep work and cutting-inHas experience with both interior and exterior projectsUnderstands different paint products, sheens, primers and stainsCan recognize poor or inadequate preparation before applying finish coatsProduces clean, consistent, professional resultsIs dependable and shows up when promisedCommunicates clearly and professionallyCan work independently without constant supervisionTakes ownership of their workKeeps a clean and organized work areaTreats clients' homes and belongings with exceptional careHas a professional attitude and appearanceIs comfortable working around high-profile, high-value clienteleDiscretion & ProfessionalismSome of our clients have significant privacy expectations.Discretion is a requirement of this position.You must be comfortable working in private residences while respecting clients' privacy, belongings, conversations, schedules and personal information.We expect our painters to be professional, respectful and discreet at every jobsite.What Will Make You Stand OutWe especially want to meet you if you have:High-end residential painting experienceExcellent brush and cutting-in skillsStrong staining experienceExperience with wood siding, trim, doors and decksSpraying experienceExperience working on custom homesExperience communicating directly with homeownersA portfolio or photos of your completed workStrong references from previous employers or clientsLead-safe/RRP experience where applicableWhat We Offer$28–$35/hour depending on experience and demonstrated skillYear-round workHigh-end residential projectsProfessional work environmentOpportunity for increased responsibility and advancementBefore You ApplyPlease be prepared to provide:Years of professional painting experienceExamples/photos of your workInterior and exterior experienceStaining and specialty-finish experienceYour availabilityDesired compensationTwo professional referencesWe are not looking for someone who simply knows how to paint.
