You'll work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure every component performs exactly as designed before it reaches the customer. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical fluid-control components Perform functional and performance testing using pneumatic, hydraulic and calibration-fluid systems Operate and maintain high-pressure test stands and pumps Troubleshoot assemblies using structured diagnostic methods Perform electrical verification using oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics and technical procedures Conduct clean-room testing and particulate analysis when required Record test results accurately and support continuous process improvements Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area Lift and move components up to 50 lbs. as needed Equipment & Tools You'll Work With This position regularly utilizes: High-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic test systems Calibration-fluid test equipment Oscilloscopes Electrical diagnostic equipment Torque wrenches Calipers Height gauges Precision measurement tools Clean-room testing equipment Industries You'll Support The components you help build and validate are used in applications including: Aerospace Nuclear Industrial Fluid Control High-Reliability Mechanical Systems What We're Looking ForRequired 1+ years of technical, mechanical maintenance or manufacturing experience Experience assembling and testing mechanical or electro-mechanical equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical documentation Experience using precision measuring tools including torque wrenches, calipers and height gauges Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must meet U.S. Persons requirements Preferred Manufacturing or machining experience Experience with high-pressure fluid, gas or cryogenic testing Electrical testing experience including dielectric and insulation resistance testing Clean-room manufacturing experience Associate degree, technical certificate or vocational training in Engineering Technology Why Technicians Like Working at Valcor Engineering Precision work supporting aerospace and nuclear industries Clean, organized manufacturing environment Interesting mix of assembly, troubleshooting and testing Modern diagnostic equipment and specialized test systems Opportunities to expand technical skills Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits Collaborative engineering and manufacturing teams Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay: $25-$45/hour depending on experience Benefits include: Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) Paid Vacation & PTO Paid Holidays Life & Accident Insurance Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program Employee Recognition Program Available Shifts 1st Shift 2nd Shift Join Valcor Engineering If you're looking for a hands-on technical role where quality, precision and problem-solving matter every day, we'd love to hear from you.
