About the role

Contract Specialist Our client, a leader in the bioanalytical and pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be part of the Contract Management Department supporting the Technical Assessment Group (TAG). The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Richmond, VA Pay Range: $30.00 Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30-5 with a 30 min meal What's the Job? Support the day-to-day operations of the Technical Assessment Group (TAG) by managing intake and triage of new requests. Assign workload effectively across team members based on service area, capacity, and complexity. Maintain accurate tracking of requests, assignments, and deliverables within project management systems. Monitor project timelines, follow up on outstanding activities, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support proposal activities and workload planning. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related life science discipline. Professional experience in a scientific, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related environment. Ability to interpret scientific and technical information to identify relevant services or technical areas. Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple requests and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. What's in it for me?
