Job Purpose:
The Bancassurance Regional Relationship Officer will manage regional relationships with bank branches in the Coast Region to achieve growth, profitability, and customer service goals. This role involves implementing sales plans, identifying new partnerships, and ensuring the achievement of regional revenue targets across all business lines (GI, EMC, Life & Pension).
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with bank branch staff and insurance officers to support business acquisition.
Analyze regional expectations and provide insights for improved product offerings and processes.
Facilitate training and knowledge sharing within the region.
Drive cross-selling of Britam products in new and existing business.
Execute regional sales strategies and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal bancassurance procedures.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet sales targets.
Prepare required presentations, sales pitches, and product documentation.
Provide quotations and ensure timely premium payments.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with regional bank partners.
Track and report on sales activities, ensuring timely submissions of reports and expense documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g., AIIK) is a plus.
