At a Glance Company: Ichor Systems Location: Osakis, MN (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time or Contract (based on candidate preference) Pay Range: $17.12 - $29.09 per hour (based on experience) Shift: Weekend Days Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime: Available as needed Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (1+ years) Work Authorization: U.S. Person Required (ITAR) Why This Role Exists This role exists to support continued production demand and capacity growth at Ichor Systems' precision machining operation in Osakis. In this position, you'll contribute to the production of high-precision components used in advanced manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and repeatability. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Operate CNC Swiss-style and other machining equipment Load parts, monitor cycle performance, and make basic adjustments Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Install tooling and set/verify tool offsets Perform in-process inspection using standard measuring tools Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust as needed Troubleshoot minor machining issues and escalate when required Communicate process issues with supervisors and team members Complete required documentation and system entries Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment such as: Machines: CNC Swiss machines, lathes, and mills Controls: Fanuc-type environments (typical) Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, depth mics, basic CMM Quality Systems: GD&T, SPC Materials You'll Work With Aluminum Stainless Steel Alloy Steel What We're Looking For Required: 1+ years of manufacturing or machining experience Basic CNC machine operation experience Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions Comfortable using basic inspection tools Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented Preferred (Not Required): Experience with Swiss machining Experience with mills or lathes Troubleshooting and machine adjustment experience 2-year machining or technical degree Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists choose Ichor Systems because: Clean, organized, production-focused shop Strong benefits starting day one Weekend schedule = full-time hours in 3 days Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 401(k) with match and immediate vesting Tuition reimbursement and skill development opportunities Stable, growing company in a high-tech industry Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay Range: $17.12 - $29.09/hr (DOE) Pay Notes: Includes weekend shift differential Benefits: Medical, dental, vision coverage 401(k) with company match (immediate vesting) Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 3 weeks PTO + paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Disability insurance Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime: Available as needed Apply Interested machinists can apply directly through hireCNC.
