About the role

Join the Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture Department as a Software Engineer II, modernizing legacy radar hardware and software while maintaining, troubleshooting, and patching deployed systems. This first-shift position is 100% onsite in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and requires eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.

What you'll do

Develop modern C++ software and tools in Linux environments
Build and test DREXs for next-generation radar systems using C/C++ and MATLAB
Modernize legacy radar hardware and software technologies
Maintain, troubleshoot, and patch deployed systems
Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to resolve technical challenges and deliver advanced capabilities

What you'll bring

Experience with C++14, C++17, or C++20, including object-oriented design and performance optimization
Experience developing in Linux environments
Experience with DevOps tools and concepts such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated build and test pipelines
Experience with MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, or numerical analysis
Experience with Python for scripting, test automation, or data analysis
Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance before starting
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative technical engineering environment
Experience with radar signal processing, RF systems, software-defined radio, digital signal processing, real-time systems, or embedded development preferred
Experience with GNU Radio, USRP platforms, or similar SDR frameworks preferred
