This role is for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who takes pride in repeatable setups, close-tolerance parts and high-quality work. You'll work alongside experienced machinists in a clean, climate-controlled facility where craftsmanship and continuous improvement matter. The team shares knowledge, values dependable work and offers a path to grow into greater technical and leadership responsibility. ️ What you'll be doing Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce close-tolerance precision components Operate CNC mills as needed Read blueprints, technical drawings and work instructions Make offsets and minor program edits Select tooling and optimize setups for repeatable production Assist with fixturing and workholding solutions Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment Maintain quality documentation and follow AS9100 procedures ️ Machines, controls & software Machines: CNC lathes, with CNC mill work as needed Controls: Haas, Mazak or Fanuc experience is preferred CAM: Fusion 360, Mastercam or similar experience is preferred Shop highlights AS9100/ISO-certified quality system Modern, well-maintained CNC equipment Clean, organized, climate-controlled shop Supportive, team-first environment Learn alongside experienced machinists Advancement potential into lead responsibilities Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and tuition reimbursement What we're looking for Required: 5+ years of CNC machining experience with a strong lathe emphasis Proven CNC lathe setup and operation experience Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances Strong knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds and machining fundamentals Dependable, detail-oriented approach to quality Preferred: CNC mill setup and operation experience G-code editing CAM experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam or similar software GD&T knowledge Haas, Mazak or Fanuc control experience Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience Trade-school, apprenticeship or equivalent training Why you'll like working here This is an opportunity to build a long-term machining career in a shop that values craftsmanship and invests in people.
