At Prosper-Tech Machine & Tool, this position plays a key role in developing and optimizing CNC turning processes for high-mix, small-batch components used in Aerospace, Space, Defense, and Medical Device applications. This is not a "monitor the machine" role - it's a hands-on engineering position focused on precision, process control, and continuous improvement. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Program and optimize multi-axis CNC turning centers Set up and validate new machining processes Select tooling, determine workholding, and refine cutting strategies Develop setup sheets and process documentation Estimate cycle times, tooling cost, and production flow Perform first-article validation and in-process troubleshooting Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tool paths to maintain quality Train and support setup machinists and operators Collaborate with leadership, planners, QC, and machinists Support compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards This is a high-impact role in a professional, quality-driven shop environment.
