Position Details: Sign on Bonus for both New Grads & Experienced RN's NO CONTRACT The Mercy Joplin MedSurg Service Line is made up of several specialty units that will provide experience with patient populations with a varying range of diagnoses and care needs. Functionally, these units house and care for patients who are preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. Whether you are a new grad nurse looking to build a strong base before launching into your future career/educational plans or an experienced nurse who enjoys variety in their everyday work, Med Surg is the place for you!Our Cardiac Surgery Unit is a 24-private bed unit that cares for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, cardiac dysrhythmias requiring IV drips, vascular surgery patients and general medical overflow. Our Nurses work on a support team of educators, PCA/PCT's, Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, PT/OT and Speech Therapists. You will earn credentials in ACLS and build strong clinical skills for our cardiac and vascular population. Day and Night Shifts Available!
