At a Glance Company: Ichor Systems Location: Osakis, MN (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time or Contract (based on candidate preference) Pay Range: $19.09 - $32.45 per hour (based on experience) Shift: Weekend Days Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime: Available as needed Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ years) Work Authorization: U.S. Person Required (ITAR) Why This Role Exists This role exists to support increased production demand and machining capacity at Ichor Systems' Osakis facility. In this position, you'll play a key role in producing precision components for high-tech industries, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and process reliability. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC horizontal milling machines Load, run, and make edits to CNC programs at the machine Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding setups Perform first-article and in-process inspections Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets Hold tolerances and ensure part quality throughout production Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Collaborate with engineering, programming, and production teams Train junior machinists and operators on standard processes Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment such as: Machines: CNC Horizontal Milling Centers Controls: Fanuc (typical environment) Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, depth mics, comparators, profilometers, CMM Quality Systems: GD&T, SPC Materials You'll Work With Aluminum Stainless Steel Alloy Steel What We're Looking For Required: 3+ years of CNC machining experience Experience with CNC milling (horizontal preferred) Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Strong setup, tooling, and offset knowledge Comfortable inspecting parts and holding tolerances Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented Preferred (Not Required): Experience with horizontal machining centers Exposure to CMM and advanced inspection tools Ability to train or mentor junior machinists 2-year machining degree Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists choose Ichor Systems because: Clean, organized, production-focused environment Strong benefits package starting day one Weekend shift = full-time hours in 3 days Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 401(k) with match and immediate vesting Tuition reimbursement and long-term growth opportunities Stable workload in a high-tech manufacturing environment Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay Range: $19.09 - $32.45/hr (DOE) Pay Notes: Weekend shift differential included Benefits: Medical, dental, vision coverage 401(k) with company match (immediate vesting) Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 3 weeks PTO + paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Disability insurance Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime: Available as needed Apply Interested machinists can apply directly through hireCNC.
