About the role

Make an Impact as a Senior Compliance Specialist The Senior Compliance Specialist serves as a Team Lead in the Compliance unit. This position is responsible for mentoring and coaching other Specialists and managing escalated cases that need intensive fact finding when there is a suspicion of fraudulent activity. In addition, other responsibilities will include working with local Workforce Boards and the Texas Workforce Commission to report locally and at the state level when fraudulent intent has been discovered. Will be responsible for calculating the cost of services that the individual will owe if deemed ineligible and will manage the collection process. Will conduct customer interviews onsite and off. Will report to the Process Improvement Manager with some demand for independent judgment. Position Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions Suspected Fraud/Abuse: Performs fact-finding on customer and child care provider related reports and within the required timeframe as defined by the Texas Workforce Commission. Works alongside Workforce Solutions and the Texas Workforce Commission during all investigations. Will determine the cost of services while ineligible and begins the collections process. Sets up and monitors Repayment Schedules and manages Warrant Hold List placements and balances. Reports findings to CCA Management, Workforce Solutions and the Texas Workforce Commission using an automated database. Lead Role: Responsible for mentoring and coaching existing Specialists who monitor casework. Will process cases that have been identified as potential fraud and needs more intensive work. Will be serve as the back up for case reading when necessary and assist with TWC exception reports. Will work closely with the Staff Trainer on identified training needs. Data Organization write clearly and effectively present ideas to document activities and to read and interpret a variety of written information Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to stay focused on task Must have ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Must promote a positive work environment Prompt and regular attendance required Equipment Used Computer, Server, fax, scanner and all office equipment Physical Demands/Work Environment Local travel required. Must have reliable transportation; valid Texas drivers license, proof of liability insurance and driving record acceptable to CCGs automobile liability insurance carrier Will be required to travel to all contractor sites Work requires normal physical effort, visual attention, manual dexterity or coordination. Any lifting restricted to items or children weighing less than 25 pounds Typical office environment Internal and External Contacts Position has daily contact with clients from the community at large and with local funders and Federal/State funding agencies Position works closely with Senior Management and all levels of staff
