At a Glance Company: Ichor Systems Location: Sauk Rapids, MN (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time or Contract (based on candidate preference) Pay Range: $19.09 - $32.45 per hour (based on experience) Shift: Weekday Nights Monday - Friday Overnight (exact hours to be confirmed) Overtime: Available as needed Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ years) Work Authorization: U.S. Person Required (ITAR) Why This Role Exists This role exists to support ongoing production demand and machining capacity at Ichor Systems' Sauk Rapids facility. In this position, you'll play a key role in producing high-precision components for advanced manufacturing applications, with a strong focus on quality, repeatability, and process ownership. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, and related equipment) Load, run, and edit CNC programs at the machine as needed Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding setups Perform first-article and in-process inspections Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets Hold tolerances and ensure consistent part quality Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Collaborate with engineering, programming, and production teams Train junior machinists and support shop floor operations Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment such as: Machines: CNC mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders Controls: Fanuc-type environments (typical) Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, depth mics, comparators, profilometers, CMM Quality Systems: GD&T, SPC Materials You'll Work With Aluminum Stainless Steel Alloy Steel What We're Looking For Required: 3+ years of CNC machining experience Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Strong setup, tooling, and offset knowledge Comfortable inspecting parts and holding tolerances Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented Preferred (Not Required): Experience with multi-machine setups Ability to train or mentor junior machinists Advanced troubleshooting experience 2-year machining or technical degree Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists choose Ichor Systems because: Clean, organized, production-focused shop Strong benefits starting day one Competitive pay with shift differentials Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 401(k) with match and immediate vesting Tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities Stable, high-tech manufacturing environment Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay Range: $19.09 - $32.45/hr (DOE) Pay Notes: Shift differential available for overnight work Benefits: Medical, dental, vision coverage 401(k) with company match (immediate vesting) Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 3 weeks PTO + paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Disability insurance Schedule: Monday - Friday Overnight shift (hours to be confirmed) Overtime: Available as needed Apply Interested machinists can apply directly through hireCNC.
